A new year means a lot is going on and a lot of cool and different shows to see!
Hey, Iโm News 6 producer Brooke Savage, the writer behind this Setting The Stage newsletter.
Letโs take a look at what you should check out next. โคต
๐บIrish dance champions are bringing โA Taste of Irelandโ to Central Florida
Presented by Pace Live, โA Taste of Irelandโ is doing a world tour following a successful West End debut in the U.K., a returning Off-Broadway performance, and international performances in Australia and New Zealand.
The production features dancers from โLord of the Danceโ and โRiverdance,โ as well as other World Champions.
โA Taste of Irelandโ has classics like โDanny Boyโ and โWild Rover,โ as the cast transports the audience through Irelandโs history and culture.
The show is heading to Daytona Beach, Melbourne, and The Villages. I spoke with a performer in the show and posted the show schedule.
๐ช โHarry Potter and the Cursed Childโ will be making a Florida debut in Orlando

Some Harry Potter magic is making its way to an Orlando stage, marking a Florida debut and the only Florida stop on the tour.
โHarry Potter and the Cursed Childโ follows Harry Potterโs headstrong son, Albus. Harry is working at the Ministry of Magic, and Albus is just starting out at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
When the sorting hat puts Albus in a different Hogwarts house than his father, he becomes friends with the son of Harryโs rival, Draco Malfoy. The divide between father and son becomes stronger, setting off a chain of choices that leads Albus to alter the past and reshape the future, with unintended consequences.
I am so excited to see this show! Itโs running for three weeks at Dr. Phillips Center in Orlando, Jan. 24 - Feb. 15. Click here for info.
