Galacticoaster is the only new roller coaster launching in Florida in 2026. Merlin framed the ride as highly interactive and family-oriented, highlighting play-based learning and a blend of technology and hands-on LEGO building.
It’s a short ride but a smooth one. You have to think about how Galacticoaster is the first roller coaster ride for many young kids as Legoland markets itself as being the first theme park built for kids.

After years of backstage-style perks and Aerosmith tie-ins, this weekend marks the last chance to ride Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster with the band’s branding in place.
As you probably know by now, the coaster is getting a Muppets theme, and plenty of progress has already been made on the re-theme.
Weeks ago, Disney walled off the Aerosmith pre-show. When Rock ’n’ Roller Coaster starring The Muppets opens later this year, this scene will feature a recording session featuring the Electric Mayhem, a Scooter Audio-Animatronic, and penguins.

Disney isn’t slowing down on its Audio-Animatronic rollout, as we’ve just found out that an Olaf animatronic is coming to The Magic of Disney Animation.
At Olaf Draws!, guests will have a place to draw Disney characters, with prerecorded guidance from Disney artists.
