Home to the big rally race, Piston Peak National Park is inspired by the Rocky Mountain area, the American Frontier and its national parks.

Included in the announcement was an art concept showing rugged mountains, a waterway across from Grizzly Hall and geysers from Big Thunder Mountain Railroad that will stretch into the trails of the off-road rally.

Trees will also provide a natural barrier between the rally and other parts of Frontierland and Liberty Square.

Inside Piston Peak, guests will be able to explore the visitor lodge, Ranger HQ, trails and more, according to the Disney Parks Blog.

Piston Peak National Park is also a major location in the Disney animated film “Planes: Fire & Rescue,” which is part of the “Cars” universe.

Disney did not reveal when the attraction is slated to open, but in order to make room for the “Cars” franchise in Frontierland, Disney will permanently close Rivers of America, Tom Sawyer Island and the Liberty Square Riverboat, with the final day of operations on July 6.

Disney is also in the middle of a year-long Big Thunder Mountain refurbishment and developing its first-ever land inspired by Disney Villains.
