LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Disney has dropped its weekend schedule for Destination D23 at Walt Disney World.

From panels to showcases, there will be much to experience for hundreds of Disney fans, with a line-up especially geared toward Millennials.

Themed “A Journey Around the Worlds of Disney,” the biennial multi-day Disney fan event runs Aug. 29-31 at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort.

Fans can once again expect announcements. While D23 events usually feature major Disney theme park news, this year’s schedule does not include a parks panel.

One key presentation is “Disney Villains: Icons of Evil.”

“Join Disney Experiences (and some of your favorite troublemakers) for a panel discussion on how Disney Villains experiences come to life around the world. Hear directly from the creative minds behind new projects and attractions, plus enjoy a special Villains-themed medley to kick off Destination D23 day two.”

Arguably one of the biggest announcements to come out of D23 2024, Disney announced that Villains Land was happening at Magic Kingdom. The description above suggests that there may be announcements related to the land currently under construction behind Frontierland.

Additional panels worth noting include special tributes celebrating the 25th anniversary of “The Emperor’s New Groove,” the 30th anniversary of “A Goofy Movie,” and the 85th anniversary of “The Three Caballeros.”

Destination D23 is sold out, and Disney has not yet announced whether any panels will be livestreamed.
