ORLANDO, Fla. – SeaWorld Orlando is once again the place to be for a family-friendly Halloween celebration.
Running select dates from Aug. 30 through Nov. 2, Halloween Spooktacular is included with park admission.

The daytime event invites kids and families to dress up, explore, and enjoy a variety of festive activities designed especially for children.

Below is a rundown of highlights:
- Trick-or-treat trail and reusable bags: Guests can collect candy at 12 stations throughout the park on the Trick-or-Treat Trail. This year, participants must purchase a reusable bag to gather treats. The bags feature new designs with playful Sesame Street characters or SeaWorld’s animal friends. Pass Members can get a special limited-edition “skull bag” at Flamingo Gifts.
- Meet Spookley the Square Pumpkin and explore the harvest maze: A new highlight this year is Spookley the Square Pumpkin, who stars in his own themed maze. Spookley shares a positive message about acceptance and celebrating differences, making him a hit with families. The Harvest Maze, a seasonal favorite, takes on this new theme with playful twists that capture the spirit of fall.
- Mermaid encounters and pumpkin garden storytelling: Visitors can meet SeaWorld’s shimmering mermaids in the Key West area, always ready with a wave and a smile. Nearby, the Pumpkin Garden offers a whimsical setting with pumpkin fish and seasonal stories told by a storyteller throughout the day.
- Sesame Street Halloween parade and story time: The Sesame Street Halloween Parade features beloved characters like Elmo, Cookie Monster, Abby Cadabby, and Count von Count in colorful costumes for a lively, not-too-spooky procession. Families can also enjoy story time with Big Bird, who reads his favorite Halloween tales.
- Cookie decorating and dance parties: Kids can decorate fall-themed cookies with a Sesame Street friend during scheduled sessions. Cookie kits are available for purchase, and no reservations are required. The fun continues with bubble dance parties and scarecrow Halloween dance parties that keep families moving and celebrating together.
- New crafts, contests, and scavenger hunts: This year introduces Halloween crafts along the trick-or-treat path, weekly costume contests on October weekends, and a new scavenger hunt filled with spooky surprises and sweet prizes.
- Count von Count’s Spooktacular Breakfast: For a premium experience, guests can enjoy a buffet breakfast featuring favorites like carved brown sugar-glazed ham, French toast sticks, scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, and pastries. Sesame Street characters make appearances for photos and fun, making it a great way to start a Spooktacular day.
- Teal pumpkin program for allergy-friendly treats: Families managing food allergies can participate in the Teal Pumpkin Program by collecting teal tokens along the trail to exchange for allergy-friendly items.
- Costume guidelines: Guests of all ages are encouraged to wear costumes. Children and adults can dress as their favorite characters or in seasonal attire. However, guests 13 and older may not wear costume masks or hoods. Face painting is allowed only when done by SeaWorld artists.
