BAY LAKE, Fla. – Walt Disney World is gearing up for a coast-to-coast celebration.
Starting Veterans Day 2025, ″Disney Celebrating America” will honor the nation’s 250th anniversary. According to the Disney Parks Blog, the initiative brings together Disney’s iconic brands to spotlight America’s past, present and future.

“At its heart, America’s story is one of imagination, ambition, and possibility – the same ideals that have guided Disney since the beginning,” Robert A. Iger, CEO of The Walt Disney Company, said in a release. “This celebration honors both a nation and a spirit that never stop dreaming about what’s next.”
A highlight of the celebration is the summer 2026 debut of Soarin’ Across America, a new immersive flight experience at EPCOT and Disney California Adventure Park.
This updated Soarin’ attraction will take guests on a journey across the country, showcasing America’s natural beauty and iconic cityscapes.
Expanding beyond Independence Day, the patriotic fireworks show “Disney’s Celebrate America! — A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky” will light up the skies across all three nights of the holiday weekend, July 3-5, at Magic Kingdom and Disneyland.
As part of the festivities, Disney will continue its strong commitment to honoring U.S. military service members, veterans and their families. In November, Disney Experiences will unveil 2026 offers available at Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort and Disney Cruise Line for eligible service members in appreciation of their service and in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
“Disney Celebrating America” runs through the July 4 weekend in 2026. More events are expected to be announced in the future.
