PORT CANAVERAL, Fla. – Fort Lauderdale may be its destined home, but on Sunday evening, Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship made a quick port stop in Central Florida.

The ship’s 5,000-nautical-mile voyage from Europe is nearly complete, and as part of its final preparation before its inaugural sailing, the Disney Destiny greeted onlookers at Port Canaveral before heading to Port Everglades.

The Destiny is the third ship in Disney Cruise Line’s Triton Class, joining the Disney Wish and Disney Treasure, with all three sailing out of Florida.
