WINTER HAVEN, Fla. – Four young Floridians are set for an out-of-this-world experience as the first-ever Junior Galaxy Explorers following a nationwide LEGO STEM contest.

Legoland Florida Resort announced eight winners from across the country who designed imaginative LEGO spacecraft, including four from Florida.

The young builders were selected from hundreds of entries by kids aged 6 to 12, who were judged on creativity, problem-solving skills, and space-themed LEGO designs.

The Florida winners are:

  • Gabriel Hart, 10, of Orlando, West Creek Elementary
  • Landon Bauer, 11, of Lakeland, homeschooled
  • Masha Novoa, 9, of Miami Beach, North Beach Elementary
