The Clermont Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying multiple people in connection with stealing numerous catalytic converters.

Two men were arrested Monday night after they were identified driving a vehicle linked to thefts of at least two catalytic converters in Flagler County, deputies said.

University of Central Florida police are warning students and staff about a rash of catalytic converter thefts happening in parking lots and garages on the university’s main campus.

For months, catalytic converter thefts have been on the rise.
