Subscribe to the Yahoo Fantasy Football ForecastApple Podcasts | Spotify | Stitcher | Google PodcastsMatt Harmon and Andy Behrens spent most of this podcast avoiding talking about what is available on the fantasy football waiver wire heading into week 13 because it is….disgusting. Instead, Andy takes a Josh Jacobs-related victory lap before the guys discuss a ton of news, including major injuries for Darnell Mooney and Tristan Wirfs, and the return of Ja’Marr Chase, J.K. Dobbins and Deshaun Watson to their respective teams. The guys also break down the exciting Sunday night game that saw Aaron Rodgers leave with an injury while the Philadelphia Eagles topped the Green Bay Packers. Finally, the guys get into their favorite options from the waiver wire, some of which are reliant on injuries that we don’t yet know the severity of, before telling you who to drop and giving an update on Matt’s mom’s fantasy football league. 26:10 NEWS / Browns QB Deshaun Watson officially reinstated31:45 NEWS / Ravens RB J.K. wftv.comFantasy Football Booms and Busts: Justin Fields gives Chicago hope in Week 10
Miami escaped with a 35-32 victory at Chicago on Sunday, but Justin Fields was the star of the day. Fields ran for 178 yards — a new regular-season record for a quarterback — and accounted for four total touchdowns, putting Chicago's offense on his back. Tight end Cole Kmet secured two short touchdowns — he's back in fantasy play after a shaky start to the year. But fantasy is a game about numbers, and Fields rang them up like a pinball machine. Kaepernick ran for 181 yards and threw for 263 more — with four total touchdowns — as the 49ers knocked out the Packers in the 2012 playoffs.
wftv.comFantasy Football: Don't expect run-heavy NFL teams to help your pass catchers
In the 2021 NFL season, every team threw the ball on at least half of its offensive snaps. Don't expect run-heavy NFL teams to change their approachOh, no one is throwing a parade for the 2-4 Bears. If you swapped Travis Kelce and Goedert (putting Goedert on the Chiefs), I'd be ranking Goedert at TE1 every week. He’s posted a reasonable 214 yards in the last three weeks, he’s clearly the No. Atlanta’s passing tree is especially narrow, and he was a credible fantasy option through the first three weeks (16-214-2).
wftv.comMuffed punt, Robinson TD lift Commanders over Bears 12-7
Christian Holmes recovered a muffed punt by Velus Jones deep in Chicago territory to set up a 1-yard touchdown run by Brian Robinson midway through the fourth quarter, and the Washington Commanders stopped a four-game losing streak, hanging on to beat the Chicago Bears 12-7.
Fantasy Football Week 6: Washington Commanders vs. Chicago Bears sit/start tips for Thursday night football
You watched last week’s TNF, looked at tonight’s teams, and checked to see if you had other things to do. Philadelphia dunked on him in Week 3, and Dallas showed him a similar amount of love the following Sunday. The long-term viability of Wentz as Washington's starter may be up for debate if things go south. Terry McLaurin has my eye this evening and will be one of my points of interest as Week 6 kicks off. Slot receivers have scored four touchdowns in five weeks while averaging 54.2 yards on 5.5 targets per game against Washington.
wftv.comFantasy Football Week 5 Wrap: Gabe Davis finally gives us what we've been waiting for
Davis' target rate remains way down, but his return to health is huge news for managers who were patient. That said, Rachaad White absolutely should be rostered in all fantasy formats; he remains available in 65% of Yahoo leagues. Mostert also saw more targets, nearly scored a second touchdown and was terrific (6.3 YPC). Smith has been a top-10 fantasy QB this season and is a borderline top-five option this week at home against the pass-funnel Cardinals defense. Jeff Wilson Jr. and Tevin Coleman were both top-12 fantasy backs this week, and Coleman needs to be added in fantasy leagues (0% rostered in Yahoo).
wftv.comFantasy Football Week 3 Bust Candidates: Four NFL stars set to disappoint
Editor's note: The names listed below are NFL players who were drafted in virtually every Yahoo Fantasy league. What we are trying to explain is that expectations should be lowered this week compared to usualfor some of football's best. Aside from examining this week's matchups, this can also serve as a reminder not to overreact if one of your stars disappoints in Week 3. Aaron Rodgers @ Tampa Bay BuccaneersThe back-to-back MVP winner has lost fantasy value through no fault of his own. Tua Tagovailoa, Jared Goff, Carson Wentz and Marcus Mariota are all superior fantasy options in Week 3.

He also handled 44% of the team air yards along with five red-zone targets, three of which came in the end zone. Amon-Ra St. Brown might be a WR1What’s stopping him from being ranked as a top-12 receiver going forward? The duo handled 88 percent of the air yards and 64 percent of the team targets combined. He’s a good player but he’s going to drop down the rest-of-season rankings. Through two weeks, Kirk has a 27% target share and has inhaled 30.7% of the Jaguars' air yards.

Rodgers throws 4 TDs, Packers beat Bears 35-16 for top seed

Will Lutz makes field goal in OT, Saints beat Bears 26-23
The Bears’ Cairo Santos made a 51-yard field goal at the end of regulation to force the extra period. He came through with his fourth field goal on a windy day, sending the Bears (5-3) to their second straight loss. “My gut, we’re on the field and I feel like we can kick a field goal at that distance without risking any ball-security issues,” Payton said. Marshon Lattimore then intercepted Nick Foles, leading to a tiebreaking field goal by Lutz. After the Saints went three-and-out, Chicago tied it with 13 seconds left on Santos’ field goal into the wind.
