Rock band Queen and Adam Lambert kicked off the open-air show outside the palace, and Alicia Keys, Duran Duran, Rod Stewart and opera singer Andrea Bocelli will follow. The queen has had problems moving around lately, which the palace describes as “episodic mobility issues,” limiting her public appearances in recent months. On Friday, the queen skipped a special service of Thanksgiving in her honor at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London.

Glastonbury Festival announced the news on Twitter on Thursday morning. When Ross last performed live in the UK -- at Petworth Park in 2008 -- she famously reprimanded audience members for filming her on their cellphones.
