After a fairly active stretch of weather recently, Memorial Day is shaping up to be one of the quieter days of the week across Central Florida.

Today we set numerous high temperature records across the viewing area. While temps fall off a bit tomorrow as our next front approaches, it will still be warm before a day or two of winter chill. Then it almost seems like spring may take command of the weather set up from here on out.

Winter has officially released its grip on our area. Temperatures are booming back up towards the mid 70s and skies are remaining relatively clear. We can expect minimum impacts to your day to day from the weather department for the work/school week ahead.

Warmth will absolutely dominate the Central Florida area, and much of the United States to their entirety as we approach Christmas and even New Year's Eve. How long till we get some relief and see some rain coming on the horizon?

Tonight and into tomorrow we'll see some of our highest amounts of rainfall possible during this set up. We finally start to see a reprieve about mid week, before the pattern starts to switch up on us bringing down our first small dose of fall just in time for next weekend.

Sunday has once again provided us with lots of sunshine, warmth, and a good bit of humidity as a third layer. This should successfully carry over into your Monday, and then by Tuesday change will start to be seen once again across Central Florida. Today was characterized by plenty of sunshine and very tiny packets of rain between Seminole, Orange, and Polk county. Tomorrow is expected to be much of the same before a little push of moisture approaches from our south once again, then finally we welcome the arrival of our next frontal system. Will temps drop?

We've been enjoying a lovely weekend across the state of Florida all thanks to an upper low hung up over the northern portions of the state dumping drier air into our neighborhood. With all things weather, however, things will inevitably change. That change is coming as we get towards the Wednesday time frame of this new week ahead.

A nice dose of fall has fallen across Central Florida, with temperatures dropping below 70 at night in some spots and a large majority of us never making it into the 90s during the warmest part of the day. That's going to continue for a bit longer. Here are all the details about what's ahead, and when things could finally start changing around again.

The first of many spring cold fronts is on its way towards the southeast United States. In its wake, the Deep South and our neighbors up north are anticipating more severe weather. By the time it arrives in our area, the front will have essentially vanished without a trace.
