Polanco, who homered in a 1-0 win Saturday night, hit two-run single in the third inning for a 4-3 lead. Twins: Bench coach Jayce Tingler said Buxton was available off the bench. Twins: Minnesota has a day off before hosting the Houston Astros for a three-game series starting Tuesday.

Also testing positive was Kansas City backup catcher Cam Gallagher said he has the virus. Gallagher, who said he is asymptomatic, participated in an intrasquad game on Friday night before receiving his positive test results on Saturday. His confusion stemmed from the fact that he didnt experience symptoms and also had multiple negative tests. DeShields, who had mild symptoms, had been in Cleveland for a few days but wasnt cleared until Saturday after testing negative twice.
Tanaka doing well; Yanks to air intrasquad game Monday
