BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. โ Divers recovered the body Monday of a 24-year-old pilot whose plane crashed into the Atlantic Ocean off Palm Beach County, the U.S. Coast Guard said. Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office divers found the body inside the Piper PA-28, the Coast Guard said. Abhishek Patter was the lone person on the single-engine plane, which crashed Sunday night near Boynton Beach Inlet, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office. The plane was flying from Palm Beach County Park Airport to Merritt Island Airport, about 140 miles (225 kilometers) north, officials said.
Disney bloggers raise $61,000 to help feed cast members impacted by COVID-19 pandemic
KISSIMMEE, Fla. โ Hundreds of Disney cast members and families struggling to make ends meet during the coronavirus pandemic received free meals on Friday after Disney bloggers raised thousands of dollars in a virtual food drive. The Disney Tourist Blog teamed up with Second Harvest Food Bank of Central Florida to hold the virtual fundraiser. The blog launched the virtual food drive to help thousands of cast members who were furloughed or laid off. Spence said donations for this virtual food drive came from all over the country.
