Dream close to being sold, taking Loeffler out of WNBA
“As it relates to the Atlanta Dream, we understand a sale of the franchise is close to being finalized,” the league said in a statement. An Atlanta Dream spokeswoman said the team had no comment on the impending sale at this time. Brian Kemp, didn't immediately sell the team, WNBA players started to endorse and campaign for her opponent, Democrat Raphael Warnock, who defeated Loeffler in Georgia's runoff election on Jan. 5. Loeffler, a wealthy businesswoman who had closely aligned herself with Trump, has been an owner of the Dream since 2011. The Dream would be the second WNBA franchise sold this month.

Kevin Hart inks new multi-platform deal with SiriusXM
LOS ANGELES – Kevin Hart is bringing more of his funny back to SiriusXM. The satellite radio company announced on Tuesday a new multi-platform deal with Hart and his comedy network Laugh Out Loud. The superstar comedian-actor will host new regular and live programs on his channel, Laugh Out Loud Radio, while expanding additional comedic programming that includes radio shows, podcasts and on-demand video. Hart said the deal with SiriusXM will give him more creative control. “If we can continue to engage at a very high level, being ourselves and being true to who we are, the success is endless.”As part of the deal, Hart will interview top comedians on his new regular show.
Kevin Hart to host famed telethon long hosted by Jerry Lewis
LOS ANGELES Kevin Hart will host the return of a popular telethon once spearheaded by the late Jerry Lewis to fight muscular dystrophy. The Muscular Dystrophy Association announced Wednesday that Hart will host the MDA Kevin Hart Kids Telethon. Hart said the telethons return is an incredible opportunity to bring back the work of Lewis, who helped make the Labor Day Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon a television tradition for decades. Lewis stepped down as host in 2011 and the association held its last telethon three years later. She hopes the telethon can continue to help raise awareness to therapies for muscular dystrophy and other related neuromuscular diseases.
