2 South Florida women accused in sex-trafficking operation
LAKE WORTH, Fla. Two South Florida women have been arrested on federal charges in connection with a sex-trafficking operation involving minors, investigators said. The women are accused of renting at least five Airbnb locations in South Florida for the purposes of selling two teenage girls for sex, the Palm Beach Post reported. One of the locations was in the Lake Worth area. The girl told investigators she also had to take nude photos for online advertising. When she resisted, the women threatened to kick her out of the home and leave her in Palm Beach County, the complaint said.

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. โ A drunk Florida woman survived being hit by a slow-moving train after she fell asleep partially on the tracks Tuesday, authorities said. The woman was hospitalized after she was found by firefighters near the train tracks early Tuesday morning, The Palm Beach Post reported. She does not have life-threatening injuries, officials said. The woman was hit by a slow-moving train in Lake Worth Beach, a city in Palm Beach County, fire officials said. Authorities did not immediately release additional details.
