DeSantis plans to release new details Tuesday on the stateโs second phase of the COVID-19 vaccine distribution plan. Florida is just completing its first week with the Pfzier vaccine and Modernaโs newly approved shots are also on the way. DeSantis said Florida is expected to receive 61,000 doses of the Moderna vaccine Monday and more than 300,000 doses Tuesday. Florida is also expecting about 12,000 Pfizer vaccine doses to arrive within 48 hours, according to the governor.
