A Palm Bay High School substitute teacher was arrested after sending a nude photo of himself to a student, according to the police department.

An 18-year-old student at Palm Bay High School faces charges after stabbing another student in the stomach with a pair of scissors, according to the Melbourne Police Department.

Palm Bay High School was temporarily placed on lockdown on Monday afternoon after at least one person was stabbed with a pair of scissors, according to Brevard County Schools.

Palm Bay High School was placed into lockdown for over an hour on Tuesday as police searched for and detained a subject off-campus who might have had a weapon, district officials said.

Two men were arrested outside of Palm Bay High School by Melbourne officers working security for a high school football game on Friday night, according to a report from the agency.
