Elton John, TikTok team up to educate about AIDS epidemic
LOS ANGELES โ The Elton John AIDS Foundation and TikTok are teaming up to raise awareness about the disease through a campaign and live event for World AIDS Day. The event will air on Johnโs TikTok channel featuring the singer and husband-filmmaker David Furnish along with performances by Sam Smith, Sam Fender and Rina Sawayama. The campaign is also expected to help educate TikTokers about the prevention and own sexual health. โWe all need to care about HIV and end the discrimination around this disease,โ John said in a statement. โThereโs a great lineup for our TikTok Live to break down the myths around HIV, talk about safe sex and ensure that young people know how to protect themselves and others.โ
Country artist Cam confronts hard truths on 'The Otherside'

But two years ago, Cam decided to walk away from Sony Nashvilleโs imprint Arista citing different values, but remaining under Sony on the RCA Record label based in New York. The title track, a meticulously crafted country dance track, was co-written with acclaimed Swedish dance artist Avicii, whose real name was Tim Bergling. She knew what she was getting into when she heard Smithโs easily recognizable voice on the demo for โHappier For You,โ a melancholic country song that fit well with Cam's aesthetic of moody and introspective country tunes.
