Francona back managing Guardians following COVID-19 outbreak

Cleveland Guardians manager Terry Francona has cleared health and safety protocols and returned to the team after missing four games with COVID-19. Francona will be back for Wednesday's game against Cincinnati along with bench coach DeMarlo Hale. According to Francona, Plesac hurt himself while “rather aggressively taking off his undershirt” after Sunday’s start at Minnesota. The 26-year-old Plesac was placed on the restricted list in August for violating team COVID-19 protocols.
