The Lake County sheriff’s deputy who shot a stabbing suspect on Sunday did not have a body-worn camera activated when the incident happened. Timotheus Reed was killed by a deputy after investigators say they responded to a stabbing along with Leesburg Police in the 2400 block on Montclair Road around 6 a.m.

After a suspect was shot and killed by a Lake County deputy over the weekend, newly released body-camera footage shows more of what happened.

Lake County deputies responding to a reported stabbing said a deputy later located the alleged suspect on foot and fatally shot him during an encounter.
