Shower, storms to move into Central Florida later this morning
ORLANDO, Fla. — Showers and storms will move into Central Florida on Wednesday morning. There’s a 60% to 70% chance of rain. Some areas will start to see storms pop up around 11 a.m. The storms will then continue throughout the afternoon. The storm could become a major hurricane by next week.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Tropical Storm Larry formed in the Atlantic early Wednesday. The storm is forecast to continue to strengthen over the next few days and become a hurricane by late Thursday or Friday. Forecasters said the storm will continue westward and begin to turn northwest over the weekend. Channel 9 will continue to monitor Larry, but it is too early to tell where the storm will go. Tropical Storm Larry will become a major hurricane.
