OVIEDO, Fla. — (AP) — Three sisters in Florida share the same birthday, but they're not twins or triplets. Instead, the Lammert sisters — Sophia, Giuliana and Mia — were each born on Aug. 25, respectively, in 2015, 2018 and 2021. “I thought she could absolutely be born two weeks early and share the same birthday with her two older sisters,” Kristin Lammert said. But whether they get a fourth Aug. 25 birthday child is up to fate, with maybe a little nudge from Kristin. “She’s really good at planning,” Nick Lammert said.

He discussed the mission to get astronauts back to the moon by 2024 under NASA's Artemis program, and introduced a group of astronauts who will take part. He formally announced the names of 18 astronauts from which NASA will choose the commanders, pilots, and mission specialists who will go to the moon as part of the Artemis program. Five of the astronauts for NASA's Artemis program, which aims to return to the moon in 2024, are introduced at the Kennedy Space Center on Dec. 9, 2020. Pence announced that two military bases on Florida's Space Coast have become the first to carry the name Space Force on their designation as military bases: Patrick Air Force Base and Cape Canaveral Air Force Station will now be Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station.

Emmie Palmer said she and a friend were stranded about three stories high along with three other woman in a gondola cabin. "Evacuating two people at a time off of the Disney World Skyliner... could be very slow with 10 capacity gondolas," Murray tweeted along with photos of rescuers working. Passengers who were stranded were compensated with free park tickets and gift cards, Palmer and Cole said.

Costa said drivers who stopped within 15 feet before or after the railroad crossing were issued a $164 citation. Drivers were also given a ticket if they changed lanes near the tracks, which police said is also illegal. During Rail Safety Week, SunRail launched its "Going for Zero" campaign to stop distractions, collisions and trespassing along the more than 60 miles of track between Kissimmee and Debary.

U. of Florida band director says he was attacked after football game
The University of Florida's marching band director was attacked following a football game against Miami. ORLANDO, Fla. - The University of Florida's band director says he was attacked Saturday night after the school's football game against the University of Miami in Orlando. The band was marching in uniform from the stadium to its buses following the game when a female Miami fan tried to cross the line of band students, University of Florida spokesman Steve Orlando told CNN, based on the director's account. Orlando police told CNN affiliate WKMG the department is investigating the incident and may release more information on Monday. Watkins has been the director of the UF Gator Marching Band since 2006.
