Melbourne's Wickham Road closing for weeks Stretch of busy road will be closed until April
MELBOURNE, Fla. – Thousands of drivers in Brevard County who normally take Wickham Road in Melbourne will have to find a new route.
Starting Monday night, crews will shut down Wickham Road from Eau Gallie Boulevard to Aurora Road.
The closure is being done so crews can improve drainage in the area.
The shutdown is scheduled to last until April.
Drivers will have to take a four-mile detour to Cronton Road in order to get around the work.
