New interactive dashboard tracks crashes throughout Florida

Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles puts out new tool tracking crashes

The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles now has an interactive dashboard that tracks crashes from all 67 Florida counties.

At the time it was first posted, the map included data from 2018 through the first five days of 2021.

Users can see an overview of crashes across the entire state for a given year or they can get data for each individual county by clicking on them.

The dashboard breaks the information down further, giving numbers for pedestrian, bicycle and motorcycle crashes.
