Motorcyclist dies after crash in Ormond Beach, troopers say

Crash happened on Walter Boardman Lane near Old Dixie Highway

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A 62-year-old motorcyclist died nearly two weeks after a crash in Volusia County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The crash happened on March 11 on Walter Boardman Lane near Old Dixie Highway in Ormond Beach.

Troopers said the motorcyclist was heading east on Walter Boardman Lane when he ran off the roadway and overturned.

The man was thrown from the bike and taken to the hospital in critical condition, where he later died on Friday, March 24.
