Trooper Steve On Patrol looks into complaints of speeding drivers in Orlando

Results-1 travels across Central Florida

ORLANDO, Fla. – After receiving a complaint from a viewer about drivers speeding in a specific area of Orlando, I checked it out.

Trooper Steve On Patrol on Friday traveled near Par and Princeton streets, where the alleged activity has been taking place.

Here’s what I found:

  • Not a single commercial vehicle was doing the speed limit.  All of them averaged 10+ mph over the limit on both Princeton and Fairbanks.
  • The school zone along Princeton was active. Drivers approached the zone at high speeds and would not slow until they saw my truck
  • A lot of younger drivers cut through Princeton and were not wearing seat belts.
