Have a plan: Trooper Steve, UCF sergeant talk New Year’s Eve safety

ORLANDO, Fla. – New Year’s Eve celebrations are a time to be surrounded with friends and family, but there is no doubt there is a lot of alcohol involved. This time of year concerns me a lot because we have done so much to safely get through the year, and one bad decision can ruin everything.

Instead of a stream with just me preaching to you, I figured I would welcome in a good friend of mine who happens to be a DUI expert.

Sgt. Frank Imparato with the University of Central Florida Police Department has dedicated his life to removing impaired drivers from the road and educating people in order to prevent this extremely preventable crime.

A little fun fact about Frank, he’s also a professional magician. Now, I can’t guarantee any magic today, but I can guarantee a good conversation between two friends who care deeply about their community and just want you guys to celebrate safely.
