According to an FHP crash report, the man was walking in a westerly direction in a marked crosswalk when he was hit by the front of a pickup truck being driven southbound in the outside lane by a 34-year-old Eustis man.

The pedestrian was pronounced dead upon his arrival to a hospital, the report states.

The Eustis man driving the truck was not injured and remained on scene, troopers said, adding that witnesses reported the truck had a green light when the crash occurred.

FHP is still investigating.
