DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Two people were sent to the hospital, one as a trauma alert, after a car smashed into a Daytona Beach business during a two-vehicle crash on Saturday, according to a news release.

Fire crews said they responded to the crash with injuries at intersection of Seabreeze Boulevard and North Peninsula Drive.

One of the vehicles involved crashed into the Goldfingers Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery located at 244 Seabreeze Blvd.

Officials did not say if the two injured were in the vehicles or inside of the business.

According to the release, the Daytona Beach Police Department is investigating the crash.

The building department has been notified and will assess the damage to the structure, fire crews said.
