With so many road projects happening across the state, here are a few key things to keep in mind when you’re behind the wheel in a work zone:

• Slow down and follow posted speed limits.
• Stay alert and watch for workers and equipment.
• Avoid distractions — put that phone down!
• Watch for traffic pattern changes and merge early.
• Keep a safe distance from the car in front of you.
