ST. CLOUD, Fla. – As National Police Week continues, our journey brings us to the City of St. Cloud — a place where tradition, respect, and service are on full display.
This week is about honoring those who wear the badge and especially remembering those who have made the ultimate sacrifice. It’s also a time to spotlight the men and women who stand tall in moments of deep emotion and pride — the members of law enforcement honor guard units.

On Wednesday, Cpl. Matthew Redditt joined me inside Results-1 for a live interview.
We took a closer look at what makes the honor guard unit such a revered part of any agency. Often called upon for some of the most solemn duties, these officers carry more than just their uniform — they carry the responsibility of representing their agency, their community, and their fallen brothers and sisters.
We talked about the unique assignments the St. Cloud Police Department’s Honor Guard handles, from ceremonial duties to funerals and public events, and what it takes to serve in such a specialized role.
It’s a conversation that went beyond the badge and deep into the heart of law enforcement tradition.
