ROCKLEDGE, Fla. – A bicyclist was struck and killed by a train Thursday morning in Brevard County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal crash happened around 10:35 a.m. at the intersection of Suntree Boulevard and Turner Road in Rockledge.
The FHP said the train was traveling south when the bicyclist entered its path and was struck.
The bicyclist, identified as a 63-year-old Rockledge man, was pronounced dead at the scene, troopers said.
The crash is still under investigation.
