BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – A 55-year-old Brevard County woman was injured early Saturday when she was struck in a hit-and-run crash in Brevard County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The crash happened around 6:50 a.m. on Arabella Lane and Barclay Drive in Port St. John.
According to troopers, the woman was walking on Arabella Lane next to the right shoulder of the roadway. Video released by the FHP shows the woman being struck by a light-colored vehicle.
The FHP on Monday evening said the vehicle is a gold Honda Accord and should have damage to the right passenger-side mirror and front-right bumper.

Her neighbor told Brevard County community correspondent James Sparvero she suffered a broken foot and a fractured neck, too.
Another neighbor said he’d like to see more enforcement of the 15 mph speed limit on the street before something like this might happen again.
“Sometimes, neighbors call officers to come out and it’s either anywhere from two hours to no-shows before they even get out here,” Tom Barton said. “I’ve been praying everything goes good for her. And I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner before now.”
Like Barton, neighbor David Boyd said he also watched the video FHP released.
“At least, call the ambulance. You know what I mean? Don’t just ride by, hit somebody and keep going, acting like the day’s alright. It ain’t alright,” he said.
Anyone with information is asked to call FHP at *347 or report anonymously to Crimeline at 800-423-8477.
An investigation is ongoing.
