Florida man killed in crash with concrete column on World Drive ramp in Osceola County 52-year-old Lake Wales man dies in single-vehicle wreck

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – A 52-year-old Lake Wales man was killed Sunday night when his Audi crashed into a concrete column in Osceola County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal single-vehicle wreck happened around 10:20 p.m. on the World Drive ramp from U.S. 192.
The FHP said the man was northbound on the ramp and failed to negotiate a curve.
The Audi A3 left the road and struck a concrete support column for the overpass, troopers said.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an FHP crash report.
