Sanford man, 34, struck, killed after walking into path of car following minor crash Honda Civic driver, another Sanford man, unhurt in Pasco County wreck No description found
PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A 34-year-old Sanford man was fatally struck Wednesday night in Pasco County when he walked into the path of a car after he had been involved in a minor wreck, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The deadly crash happened around 10:15 p.m. on State Road 56 near Shops Lane.
The FHP said a Honda Civic, driven by a 40-year-old Sanford man, was westbound on S.R. 56 and struck the other Sanford man.
The pedestrian was taken to a hospital and later died, troopers said.
The driver was not injured.
No other details have been released.
