SR-434 reopens after dump truck strikes power lines in Longwood Incident happened at SR 434 and Pressview Avenue

LONGWOOD, Fla. – Parts of State Road 434 in Longwood were temporarily closed after a dump truck hit power lines on Wednesday afternoon, city officials said.
According to a social media post , the incident happened near S.R. 434 and Pressview Avenue.
Officials said the westbound lanes of S.R. 434 are closed while Duke Energy made repairs, but the road has since opened.

Officials ask that drivers use caution and plan an alternate route.
