ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Four people were injured Wednesday night in a fiery Orange County crash involving three vehicles, officials said.
The wreck happened on West Wetherbee Road at Sir Winston Way, which turns into Bisted Drive, northeast of State Road 417 and Florida’s Turnpike.
Orange County Fire Rescue said crews arrived to find three vehicles ablaze, but the fires were quickly extinguished.

The crash scene investigation was handed over to the Florida Highway Patrol, which said a 2014 Nissan Altima driven by a 17-year-old Kissimmee boy failed to stop for a 2014 Infiniti QX60 in the intersection and struck the side of the Infiniti, which spun into a 2007 Chevrolet Suburban that was stopped at the intersection.
The Infiniti and Chevrolet caught fire and were fully engulfed in flames, while the Nissan was partially engulfed, troopers said.
The teen driver; the driver of the Infiniti, a 76-year-old Orlando man, and his passenger, a 9-month-old; and the driver of Chevrolet, a 41-year-old Orlando man, were taken to hospitals.
The conditions of the victims was not released.
An investigation is ongoing.
