Vehicle catches fire on Florida’s Turnpike in Osceola County

KENANSVILLE, Fla. – A vehicle fire early Wednesday prompted the closure of Florida’s Turnpike in southern Osceola County.

Northbound lanes of the Turnpike were closed near Kenansville, but they were later reopened and traffic was moving smoothly through the area.

Details about the vehicle fire, including whether anyone was injured, have not been released.
