Fatal crash investigated on SR-44 in Wildwood Florida troopers called to scene in Sumter County
WILDWOOD, Fla. – A fatal crash is under investigation in Sumter County.
The wreck happened around 10 p.m. Tuesday on State Road 44 at County Road 229 in Wildwood.
The Florida Highway Patrol said lanes were closed in the area after the crash, but details about the wreck have not been released.
