TRAFFIC ALERT: Crash blocks SR-417 in Orange County, causing major backup

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A crash is blocking State Road 417 in south Orange County, causing major delays.

The wreck happened around 7 a.m. on S.R. 417 south at mile marker 5, south of I-4.

All southbound lanes of S.R. 417 are blocked in the area.

Traffic was backed up for about 5 miles as of 7:50 a.m. Drivers can exit at mile marker 4 and use State Road 536 as an alternate route.

Florida Highway Patrol will investigate the crash, but details about the wreck have not been released.
