Downed power lines shut down Hancock Road in Clermont, police say

CLERMONT, Fla. – Hancock Road in Clermont is shut down in both directions Tuesday afternoon due to downed power lines, according to police.

The road is closed in the area of Greater Pines Boulevard.

According to the Clermont Police Department, crews are at the scene attempting to clear the roadway.

Drivers are being asked to avoid the area until the road can be reopened.
