ORLANDO, Fla. – On today’s Trooper Steve on Patrol, I wanted to give you a little behind-the-scenes look at the vehicle that helps bring so many of our stories to life.
Around here, we call it “Results-1.”
For the past three years, this vehicle has become much more than just a news truck. It’s essentially a rolling production studio that allows us to show you traffic issues, construction projects, severe weather, and community events from a perspective most traditional news vehicles simply can’t provide.
Whether we’re driving through a construction zone, showing you a confusing intersection, or going live during breaking news, Results-1 gives us the flexibility to bring viewers directly into the experience in real time.
What many people don’t see is everything that goes into getting ready before we ever hit the road. Cameras, lighting, streaming equipment, power systems, and mounts all have to be checked and organized before every patrol.
What I enjoy most about Results-1 is how it helps us connect with the community in a more personal way. It allows us to show traffic and safety issues from the same perspective drivers experience every day.
I hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to get Trooper Steve on Patrol rolling.
