APOPKA, Fla. – A car crashed into an Apopka dentist office late Tuesday, forcing the dentist to cancel all his appointments on Wednesday.
The wreck happened around 11 p.m. at Forest Lake Dental on North Bear Lake Road in Apopka.
According to authorities, the driver of a blue Mustang lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason and crashed into the building. The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating whether the driver suffered a medical episode before the crash.
Video from the scene showed a man being placed into an ambulance and a boy wearing a neck brace.
The car left a gaping hole in the side of the building and there was damage to the inside of the office, too.
Dentist Carlos Martin told News 6 that he has canceled all Wednesday appointments. It's not known when the office will reopen.
