Driver critically injured in wrong-way, head-on crash on Florida Turnpike FHP investigates wreck near Interstate 4 in Orlando
ORLANDO, Fla. – A driver suffered critical injuries early Wednesday in a wrong-way crash on the Florida Turnpike in Orange County, officials said.
The wreck was reported in the northbound lanes of the Turnpike near Interstate 4 near Orlando.
The Florida Highway Patrol said the driver's vehicle struck a tractor-trailer head-on.
It's not known why or how long the vehicle was traveling in the wrong direction.
No other details have been released.
