Edgewater residents battle feral hog invasion; city traps 50 in 3 months

Residents in Edgewater say feral hogs have been tearing up their yards — often overnight — causing thousands of dollars in damage. The city says it has trapped 50 hogs over the past three months as part of an ongoing effort to get the problem under control. But the city says the problems are far from over and urges residents to be vigilant. Edgewater residents who spot a feral hog are asked to call the police department at 386-424-2000.
