Next step in plan to bring Costco to former Sanford mall takes shape

The City of Sanford is taking another step forward on a project to build a Costco at the largely vacant Seminole Towne Center. On Thursday, the city’s Planning and Zoning Commission will vote to approve a comprehensive sign program for a nearly 49-acre section of the property.
