Bystander shot, killed in Apopka amid crash and fight

A person is dead after trying to intervene in a fight between two people in the Apopka area. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says the incident happened in the area of Plymouth Sorrento Road and West Ponkan Road on Tuesday morning. Deputies responded after getting a call about a man and a woman fighting inside a vehicle. Then the vehicle crashed, but the two people got out of the vehicle and kept fighting.
