Osceola County considers adding school bus stop-arm cameras to catch drivers illegally passing
The School District of Osceola County is moving closer to installing stop-arm enforcement cameras on school buses. Transportation Director Orville Watson told News 6 on Monday that the cameras are on the way. The School District of Osceola County is set to vote on entering into a contract with Verra Mobility for the bus stop-arm cameras during its meeting on Tuesday. Verra Mobility is the same contractor currently operating school zone speed detection cameras in Osceola County — cameras that have been offline since November 2025 due to legal challenges.
