National Weather Service confirms 2 tornadoes in Central Florida Tornadoes touch down during severe weather
ORLANDO, Fla. – The National Weather Service confirmed that two tornadoes touched down Friday night during a wild round of severe weather in Central Florida.
Several viewers sent videos and photos of funnel clouds spotted in Osceola and Orange counties.
One viewer's photo captured a twister at Orlando International Airport.
The tornado near OIA didn't cause any damage, but a tornado near Buenaventura Lakes tossed debris and damaged homes and a pool enclosure.
No injuries were reported.
Another round of strong storms is expected Monday in Central Florida .
Despite the recent rain, Orlando remains more than 10 inches below the average amount of rainfall for the year.
